Most suites come pre-built out with plumbing and electric and are the responsibility of three building owner. I didn’t have to pay for that.

Hi! I believe it’s called Champagne Ice by Glidden. I still love it!

Thank you! The paint color is called “champagne ice” but I can’t remember which brand of paint it was. I just know I purchased it at Home Depot. And then the cabinets were bought online from RTA Store.

You do need to, but you can include the filler shade in your lowlight formula!

Yes thin horizontal slices on the sides! The trick to them not looking stripey is to have a lighter shade on the ends. So if their natural root color is level 7, i would use that level in the root area and then level 8 or 9 in the Mids/ends.

She reaches a level 9 around the hairline and then level 8 everywhere else. Her toning was layered on. Root shadow applied first, then Mids applied, then ends everywhere except money piece was toned the last 10 mins. So total time roots sat for 30 mins, Mids/ends for 20 mins, and money piece for 10 mins.

This is hard to answer because I don’t “always” do anything. Every technique is modified to fit the client and their needs! As a general guideline, I will center my section off their part.

I had the exact same thing happen to me! Once I figured this out it totally changed how lowlights turned out! I always think about how the sun would lighten hair and it will always be lighter at the ends and darker at the roots!

Hey, there isn’t really a classification of double vs. single suites in our building. So I’m not sure! The building blueprints showed it only have one station but I was about to fit two. The room is about 140 sqft. We don’t seem to have issues with sharing the sink. If both of us are working the same day, then we do the glazing/bowl work at our station and that keeps us from needing the bowl at the same time. Hopefully that info helps!

Yes my toners are always formulated off my clients hair! I will almost always add a little bit of warmth to my toners, even if my goal is a platinum result. Gold/warmth reflects light which is what gives that shiny bright blond effect. Ashy colors absorb light, which can make the hair look flat and darker. Redken shades 9AA is hands down the best color to add to your blond toners!

Omg getting the right peach color is SO much more difficult than it seems. The paint brand is from Home Depot. It’s call PPG and the color name is Champagne Ice!

Was that the final paint choice or did you paint over the champagne ice?

I’m leasing it! I was allowed to do this level of construction because all of it can be removed from the space if/when I choose to end my lease. All I would have to do is patch wall holes and replace the baseboards. Most businesses lease commercial space and are given guidelines on what kind of modifications you can make. For reference, I’m lease from Sola Professionals!

@@thestylistbrit I was confused as well. I thought the owners (especially Sola) pay for the the chairs/ cabinets. Never heard of this concept!

@@lf9341 it just depends on who is the building owner/manager. At my last suite the owners provided the chairs and some furniture!

No, I wash them in my shampoo sink! I didn't have a second bowl in my last suite either, so I'm totally used to doing this and it doesn't bother me at all! But I'm really good about washing everything in between clients.

Normally bleached hair won’t be accepted for hair donations because it doesn’t have the strength to undergo the wig making process.

such a pitty it cant be used and your hair had to end up as waste especially when they was soo much of it, you got your moneys worth and kept them busy at the salon, it will be soo much lighter and easier to manage, was you nervous having your haircut?

I did this over two years ago and have since had price increases. So I don’t remember what I charged then! If I did this color today, I would charge $375.
